Urgent appointments
Our doctors provide same day, pre-bookable and follow up appointments. The doctors and the minor illness nurse also provide a ‘same day’ service for medical problems that need to be seen quickly. Please ensure you contact us as early as you can in the morning for same day appointments.
To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday) during opening times:

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.

Pre-bookable appointments are available up to 6 weeks in advance. These are intended for non-urgent medical problems, long-term complicated health issues, or mental health problems. Where possible, you will be booked in with the doctor of your choice.

We will respond to requests within 2 working days.

Home visits
Please phone the surgery on 01603 425989 before 11am to request a home visit. Requests made after this time are for emergencies only.
Home visits are at the doctor’s discretion, according to the patients clinical condition. A doctor may contact you by phone to discuss your problem prior to visiting.
It is generally better to be seen in our surgery where equipment and drugs are available.
Lack of transport is not considered a suitable reason for requesting a home visit.
Please do not waste the doctors time by requesting inappropriate visits.
