Community nurses
We have a team of community nurses attached to the surgery. The team see patients who require nursing in their own homes.
Community midwife
Midwives working in the community are able to give advice on all aspects of maternal health as well as advice on baby feeding and care. The midwifery team can be contacted on 01603 481222.
Health visitors
Health visitors are specialist nurses who visit children and families in their own homes, and communities, to support good choices for a healthy life.
Health visitors offer expert advice on breastfeeding, weaning, sleep, home safety, immunisations, post natal depression, ‘routines and boundaries’ parenting and provide referrals to other services.
